Job summary

Westview Care Center in Britt, IA is seeking a Part-Time Day Cook/Dietary Aide to join our friendly, caring team. As a cook, you’ll prepare meals meeting residents' dietary needs, follow recipes, and record temperatures to ensure food safety.

As a Cook you will provide residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensures our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Westview Care Center by preparing and ensuring residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and following recipes for preparing large volumes of food. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
