We are looking for a Weekend Cook at our service Bethany Lodge in Dymchurch.

About Bethany Lodge: We support young adults with disabilities in a residential setting, promoting independence and wellbeing. Our goal is to ensure everyone feels safe, happy, and empowered to live their best lives.

Working Details

• Part-Time
• Saturday and Sunday, 08:00 to 14:00
• 12 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality food tailored to residents, staff, and visitors' needs
• Review menus regularly, considering dietary restrictions and cultural requirements
• Communicate effectively to ensure balanced and healthy diets
• Build positive relationships within the team and with residents and visitors
• Manage ordering, control, and review of supplies, keeping costs within budget

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or above in catering
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and preparation
• Positive attitude and commitment to high-quality service
• Flexible and professional approach to multi-site work
• Reliable with good attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
