Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a compassionate Cook/Dietary Aide to join our team in Iowa. You will contribute to menu planning and meal preparation, ensuring meals are nutritious, well-balanced, and presented with care to support residents’ comfort and quality of life.

You will develop positive relationships with residents, apply dietary guidelines, and participate in training that covers food safety, sanitation, and modified diets. A healthcare setting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in quantity food preparation and service.
• Willingness to complete training in Food Safety, Sanitation and Modified Diets.
• Experience in a healthcare dietary setting a plus.

• Contribute to menu planning and meal preparation, bringing creativity and personal flair while meeting nutritional guidelines and resident preferences.
• Prepare and serve meals that create an enjoyable, dignified dining experience and support residents’ comfort, satisfaction, and quality of life.
