Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc is hiring a Cook to prepare meals for residents in a senior living community. Responsibilities include following standardized recipes, ensuring quality and presentation, and accommodating dietary modifications while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

The cook will record quantities, monitor temperatures, rotate and store food safely, and support dining services as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of cooking or food preparation experience.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and menus.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to work in a team and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to recipes and menus.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards.
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements.
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures.
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations.

• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed.
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.
