Job summary

Serenity Spring Senior Living at Arlington in Arlington, OH is seeking a Cook/Supervisor for the 2nd shift. The role requires supervising support staff and performing cooking duties in a fast-paced long-term care setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations and established policies and procedures.
• Ensure safety regulations and precautions are followed by all personnel.
• Follow Infection Control Precautions in daily tasks.
• Assist and direct daily or scheduled cleaning duties per policy.
• Maintain department in a clean and safe manner; ensure equipment and supplies are stocked.
• Report hazardous conditions or equipment to the Food Service Director immediately.
• Assist in maintaining food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner.

Education

Responsibilities of Cook/ Supervisor:

• Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations as well as our established policies and procedures

• Ensure that safety regulations and precautions are followed at all times by all personnel

• Follow established Infection Control Precautions policies and procedures when performing daily tasks

• Assist and direct daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures
