Position: Cook

Immediate Supervisor: Manager on Duty (MOD)

Position Summary: This position involves cooking, preparing, and packaging products.

Job Duties:

  1. Cook, prepare, and package food products according to operational and quality standards.
  2. Operate dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, and food prep stations as assigned.
  3. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  4. Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food prep areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying grease traps.
  5. Maintain regular attendance.

Additional Duties:

  1. Report customer or employee complaints/issues to MOD.
  2. Move and stock food weighing up to 50 pounds.
  3. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Time/Shift Expectations: Flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of general restaurant or retail operations.
  2. Basic math and reading skills.
  3. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Ability to follow directions and multitask.

Work Environment: Standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting in a restaurant setting; exposure to heat, hot liquids, and freezer temperatures; variable weather conditions.
