Slim Chickens in Ankeny, IA is hiring cooks to work at the fry station and assist with breading and prep. You will follow recipes, operate fryers, and communicate with teammates to ensure timely, high-quality meals.

• Can follow basic procedures and recipes for breading chicken and other food items

JOB DUTIES

As our Cook, you impact all daily operations and are critical to the quality of the food prepared by your restaurant. The job duties of a cook include but are not limited to:

• Blanching wings
• Breading chicken, mushrooms, pickles, and other food items
• Working with the fryers for all of your shift
• Communicating with fellow team members about food orders
• Following order pars on the kitchen screens
• Cleaning the fryers
• Filtering fryer oil
