Job summary

The Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan seeks a COO & Senior Managing Director, Strategic Planning & Initiatives. You will shape EE’s strategic direction, lead budgeting, and oversee global program delivery across four locations, ensuring top-tier customer service and operational excellence.

As a senior EE leader, you will manage a diverse team, develop long-range plans, negotiate contracts, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to advance EE’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of experience.
• Experience developing client relationships with executives and leaders in large global firms.
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and practices.
• 5+ years of strategic planning.
• 5+ years of managerial and team leadership responsibility.
• 6+ years of fiscal management responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and budgeting across EE; set KPIs and annual work plan.
• Oversee global program delivery, facilities, and vendor contracts.
• Manage EE leadership relationships and cross-functional collaboration.
• Recruit, develop, and supervise EE staff; ensure customer-focused service.
• Drive organizational initiatives and continuous process improvements.
