Job summary

Pengate Handling Systems is seeking a Conveyor Technician to join our Service Team. This role repairs and services conveyors and related equipment, ensuring complete customer satisfaction in a polite, professional manner.

You will install, diagnose, and repair a range of conveyor systems, perform preventive maintenance, document service calls, and work with belts, splices, and belt bonding. A high school diploma and 3 years of field experience are required, with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years breakdown or service experience.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders or work on elevated platforms up to 30 ft.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all conveyor equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance per policy.
• Prepare documentation for each service call.
• Proficient in lacing, splicing, cutting, vulcanizing, and belt bonding.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• Follow customer safety guidelines on site.
• Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and software integration problem solving.
• Perform alignment and tracking of belts.
• Additional duties as required.
