Job summary

Pengate Handling Systems, Inc. in Breinigsville, PA is seeking a Conveyor Technician to join our service team. You will install, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor equipment and perform preventive maintenance to keep systems running smoothly.

You will document service calls, handle belt splicing and alignment, maintain a valid driver's license, and follow customer safety guidelines at each site. We offer solid benefits and opportunities for growth within a growing material-handling

Qualifications

• Industry experience
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years breakdown experience or comparable service experience.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders and/or work on elevated platforms that may be 15' to 30' in height

Responsibilities

• Installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair all types of Conveyor equipment that Pengate sells and services.
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to Pengate Handling, Inc., Scheduled Maintenance policy and procedures.
• Prepares necessary documentation relating to each service call in a neat and accurate manner.
• Proficient in lacing, splicing, cutting, vulcanized, and cold bonding belts.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record per company policy.
• Follow customer’s safety and housekeeping guidelines when performing repairs at customer site.
• Mechanical, Electric, Pneumatic and software integration problem solving.
• Perform alignment & tracking of belts.
• Additional duties as required or assigned.
