Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair conveyor systems and related equipment in a warehouse setting. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on experience with conveyors, strong mechanical skills, and a proactive approach to safety. You will collaborate with Operations and other maintenance staff on reliability initiatives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or warehouse settings.
• Experience with conveyor systems: bearings, belts, chains, motors, gearboxes.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Basic computer skills to document work electronically.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors and material handling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedules to reduce downtime.
• Assist with installation and modification of conveyors and related equipment.
• Document maintenance findings and report to leadership.
• Maintain clean, organized maintenance areas and follow safety requirements.
