Job summary

Telementum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain conveyor systems and overall facilities. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot production interruptions, and support MHE battery changes and repairs.

The role requires reading blueprints and electrical schematics, plus flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment with conveyor systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 3 years’ experience in maintenance.
• Experience with conveyor systems in distribution/manufacturing.
• General fabrication experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Ability to read an electrical voltmeter to determine voltage.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Forklift and material handling repair experience is a plus.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic valves is a plus.
• Strong planning, prioritization and detailed instruction execution.
• Ability to complete assignments on time.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform regularly scheduled daily and monthly preventative maintenance on conveyor systems.
• Use material handling equipment to clear jams in hard-to-reach locations.
• Troubleshoot issues affecting conveyor production to minimize downtime.
• Adjust pulleys and verify voltage on conveyors as needed.
• Assist with building facility maintenance such as plumbing and HVAC repairs.
• Support battery changes and repairs for MHE as required.
• Assist with trash and pallet collection and separation.
