Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a maintenance technician in Texas to support installation, troubleshooting, and routine servicing of conveyors and related equipment. The role requires safe operation, adherence to procedures, and timely documentation, with potential overtime.

You will work with Operations and other teams to minimize downtime and ensure asset protection. Applicants should be able to pass safety certifications, drug screening, and background checks.

Qualifications

• Valid motor vehicle operator's license with driving record acceptable to insurer.
• Must pass Safety training/certification as required by customers and Kinder Morgan.
• Must obtain and/or meet requirements to enter foreign trade zones (e.g., TWIC).
• Candidate must pass written and hands-on assessment for the position.
• Candidate must clear a drug screen and complete background check after offer.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist with installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of conveyors, tanks, pumps, air compressors, etc.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on dry bulk conveyor equipment and environmental control equipment.
• Maintain service records and document activities daily via handwritten or electronic logs.
• Comply with all Safety Rules and attend required safety training.
• Coordinate with Operations to minimize operational impacts.
• Perform periodic visual inspections of conveyors and equipment.
• Document reports and notes timely; ensure third parties operate within limits to protect assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
