Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions in Texas is seeking a Conveyor Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of 20+ mechanics across 42 miles of conveyor and support systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize conveyors, hydraulics, and related equipment while developing SOPs and preventive maintenance plans to improve efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5+ years’ supervisory experience in industrial/mining fields.
• Knowledge of overland conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical repairs.
• Experience maintaining and repairing process and heavy equipment.
• Computer skills: proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 20+ fixed and mobile equipment mechanics.
• Gather technical information for maintenance crews to perform jobs safely and efficiently.
• Develop SOPs and procedures to improve employees’ skills.
• Maintain 42 mile right-of-way cleanliness and appearance through general housekeeping and vehicle/tool maintenance.
• Ensure repairs are performed properly; manage parts issuance and downtime coordination with logistics.
• Develop tasks for predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
• Interpret blueprints and equipment manuals.
• Coordinate with Planner/Scheduler; plan downtime efficiently.
• Work overtime as required to minimize downtime.
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisor.
• Seek improvements to maintenance processes and procedures.
