Job summary

Diversified Conveyors, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Tech to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on conveyor systems. You will ensure compliance with client specs and codes, while developing drawings and cost inputs for project proposals.

You will collaborate with engineers and clients, plan installation and testing, and help draft technical documentation and proposals. Occasional travel and shift flexibility may be required due to project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in conveyor/material handling systems design and upgrades.
• Knowledge of codes and standards relevant to material handling.
• Ability to draft technical documentation and drawings.
• Experience with cost estimation and scheduling for projects.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues in conveyors.
• Ensure compliance with client specs and applicable codes.
• Develop general arrangement drawings and preliminary cost input.
• Assist estimator with costs and timelines.
• Support engineering in later project phases.
• Plan installation, testing, and debugging activities.
• Collaborate with clients and engineers to determine handling needs.
• Propose improvements and evaluate new technologies.
• Draft technical documentation and specifications.
