Job summary
Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair conveyor systems and material handling equipment in a warehouse environment.
The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring high equipment reliability to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in industrial maintenance, hands-on experience with conveyors and mechanical systems, and the ability to document work electronically while adhering to safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of industrial maintenance or related experience.
- Experience with conveyors, bearings, belts, motors and gearboxes.
- Basic electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting.
- Able to document work electronically and follow safety rules.
- English and Spanish bilinguals highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors and material handling equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance per schedule and document results.
- Inspect for wear, misalignment and lubrication deficiencies.
- Assist with installation/modification of conveyors and related gear.
- Follow OSHA/LOTO procedures and maintain a safe work area.
