Job summary

Performance Team in New Jersey is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve conveyor systems and material handling equipment in a warehouse/distribution setting.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with conveyors, can perform routine troubleshooting, and will work with Operations to improve equipment reliability while maintaining safety and uptime.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, facilities, or related maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical components including bearings, rollers, belts, chains, sprockets, motors, and gearboxes.
• Assist in troubleshooting basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Observe equipment operation and identify potential mechanical failures or performance issues.
• Remove, repair, or replace defective components to restore equipment functionality.
• Test equipment following repairs to verify safe and proper operation.
• Assist with installation and modification of conveyors and related equipment
