Job summary

Steele's Executive Search Group is seeking an experienced project manager for conveyor systems installation. You will oversee onsite field installations, manage installation crews, coordinate with foremen and superintendents, and ensure projects align with budget, schedule, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years’ experience in a conveyor systems integrator or industrial material-handling company, with strong planning, communication, and safety leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience with conveyor systems integrator or industrial material-handling company.
• Experience overseeing onsite project management, field installations, and installation crews.
• Ability to coordinate with foremen and superintendents.
• Strong business acumen in project planning and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple conveyor installation projects simultaneously (3–5 at a time).
• Oversee onsite project management, field installation activities, foreman, and crews.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical installation; assist with commissioning and handover.
• Interpret drawings; verify installations meet specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare and document change orders with customer approvals.
• Monitor schedules, communicate changes, and coordinate progress with customers and internal departments.
• Train technicians, employees, and contractors on procedures and safety.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through communication and coordination.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement projects within budget, timeline, and scope.
• Present project updates to stakeholders; monitor progress.
• Set project timeline and deliverables; coach team members.
