Job summary

WebstaurantStore Food Service Equipment and Supply Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repair of the warehouse and material handling equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and racking. The role coordinates repairs with external vendors and supports operational improvements, while maintaining a clean working environment and tracking maintenance costs.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant maintenance experience in a distribution environment.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
• No degree required; emphasis on skills and experience and alignment with company values.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the repair of warehouse equipment, including conveyors and forklifts, and upkeep/replacement of racking.
• Communicate with outside vendors for warranty issues or repairs beyond certification level.
• Maintain batteries per manufacturer maintenance intervals.
• Support maintenance projects, improvements, and scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Promote warehouse yard efficiency and disposal of pallets/skids.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and floor scrubbers.
• Log maintenance activities in internal systems.
• Make recommendations for repair, rebuild, or replacement of components.
