Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician III for our brand-new 1.2 million square foot warehouse in Hagerstown, MD. You will repair conveyors, forklifts, and racking, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate with outside vendors to resolve issues and uphold safety and uptime.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the repair of warehouse equipment, such as conveyors and forklifts, and oversee movement, upkeep, and replacement of racking.
• Communicate with outside vendors regarding warranty issues or necessary repairs beyond technician certification.
• Ensure all equipment batteries are watered and maintained per manufacturer schedules.
• Deliver support to maintenance projects, operational improvements, and preventative maintenance on assets and equipment.
• Promote warehouse yard efficiency, including upkeep and disposal of pallets / skids.
• Operate equipment including forklifts and floor scrubbers.
• Report forklift issues promptly to leadership to maximize uptime and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment following safety protocols (LOTO, PPE).
• Maintain a log of preventative and corrective maintenance in internal systems.
• Make recommendations for repair, rebuild, or replacement of key components.
