Clark Mechanical Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for preventative maintenance, repair, and upkeep of warehouse equipment including conveyor belts and forklifts. This position coordinates with external vendors for repairs and promotes a clean working environment.

The ideal candidate must efficiently track maintenance costs and meet performance standards while supporting overall operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the repair of warehouse equipment, such as conveyor belts and forklifts.
• Communicate with outside vendors regarding warranty issues or necessary repairs.
• Ensure all equipment batteries are maintained per manufacturer recommendations.
• Deliver support to maintenance projects, operational improvements, and scheduled maintenance.
• Promote the efficiency of the warehouse yard, including upkeep and disposal of pallets.
• Operate equipment, including forklifts and floor scrubbers.
• Report forklift issues to ensure issue resolution and maximize uptime.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all safety protocol.
• Log all preventative and corrective maintenance using internal systems.
• Make recommendations for repair, rebuild, and replacement of components as needed.
• Meet performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
• Work closely with team members and leadership to meet departmental goals.
• Abide by all company and warehouse policies.
• Flex into other positions and undertake additional duties as necessary.
