Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an on-site Field Service Technician to perform belt installation, splicing, preventative maintenance, and occasional emergency repairs at customer sites. You will fabricate belts in the shop, assist with rigging, and handle diagnostics with safety as a priority.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree with up to three years of related experience, strong communication, and the ability to operate lifts and hand tools.

Qualifications

• Requires a technical degree or equivalent, with 0–3 years related experience.
• Ability to read measuring tools and interpret equipment specifications.
• Strong communication with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site belt installation, splicing, maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Fabricate belts in shop as needed and assist with rigging.
• Diagnose equipment issues and advise on repairs or replacements.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies.
