Job summary

USA MOT Motion Industries, Inc. seeks Field Service Technicians to perform on-site belt installation, splicing, and preventive maintenance for conveyor systems. You will fabricate belts in the shop, assist with rigging, and perform millwright tasks to install and repair components at customer sites.

You will diagnose equipment issues, document findings, and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction. Willingness to drive company vehicles and comply with safety standards is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a technical degree and 0–3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site belt installation, splicing, and preventative maintenance and occasional call outs for emergency repairs.
• Fabricate belts in shop.
• Rigging to facilitate lifting of belt rolls, presses and tooling on/off conveyor systems.
• Perform basic millwright tasks and replacement of conveyor components such as bearings, idlers, pulleys, gearboxes, and motors.
• Serve as customer contact on technical and service-related issues; communicate technical information to stakeholders; provide training as needed.
• Provide on-site services for new and existing clients, including emergency repairs and upgrades on a 24/7 on-call basis.
