Job summary
Motion Industries in Ohio seeks Field Service Technicians to service conveyor belts and related mechanical equipment at customer sites. You will perform installation, maintenance, and minor fabrication tasks to keep conveyors running smoothly.
Applicants should have a technical degree with 0–3 years of related experience, be able to read measurements, and operate lifts and hand tools safely. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally are required.
Qualifications
- Technical degree and 0–3 years related experience or equivalent.
- Ability to read measuring devices and perform basic math.
- Excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues.
- Experience with rigging, belt installation, and maintenance preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site belt installation, splicing, and preventative maintenance.
- Fabricate belts in shop as needed and assist with conveyor components.
- Diagnose equipment issues and determine repairs or part replacements.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on system equipment.
- Maintain safety and regulatory compliance on customer sites.
