Job summary

Cisco-Eagle, Inc. is hiring a Field Service Technician for material handling systems in Austin, TX.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors and related equipment, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and partner with CEI techs and install crews to complete service projects. The role requires independent work, strong communication with customers, and diligent documentation.

Qualifications

• Field Service experience is required.
• Experience with preventive/corrective maintenance on material handling equipment.
• Electrical experience (220VAC & 24VDC) preferred.
• Welding ability is a plus.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with CEI techs, subcontractors, or install crews.
• Comfortable with Windows-based software and using a computer for diagnostics/documentation.
• Clear written communication; paperwork completed on time.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems (motors, photo eyes, limit switches, E-stops, etc.).
• Identify and procure parts needed to complete service/maintenance.
• Communicate clearly with customers before, during, and after work; secure approvals as needed.
• Document work: complete work orders, customer forms, POs, timecards, and related paperwork accurately and on time.
• Promote services: identify opportunities with existing customers; provide literature and basic proposals.
• Maintain your service vehicle: routine maintenance, inventory/supplies, cleanliness.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for our 24-hour service line.
• Support installations of new or used material handling systems as needed.
