Field Service Technician — Little Rock, AR

Own a piece of the company you work for.

Cisco-Eagle isn't just another service company. We're a 100% employee-owned material handling systems integrator that's been growing steadily for decades — and every employee shares in that growth through our ESOP.

We help companies keep their warehouses and operations running with conveyor systems, lifts, dock equipment, industrial carousels, storage systems, palletizers, stretch wrappers, and more. Our service team is the group customers count on when equipment needs maintenance, something stops working, or a problem needs to be solved quickly and correctly.

We're hiring a Field Service Technician to join our Little Rock team. This is a hands‑on position for someone with field service experience who can troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment, work independently, communicate professionally with customers, and take pride in getting the job done right.

Why People Stay at Cisco-Eagle

You're an owner, not just an employee. Our ESOP means you build real equity as the company grows — on top of your pay.

Your work matters. When a customer's equipment goes down, you're the person they rely on to figure out what's wrong and get them back up and running.

You're backed by a team. You'll work independently in the field, but you'll also have other Cisco-Eagle technicians, installation crews, subcontractors, and internal resources to support you.

Real benefits, not just a checklist. Paid vacation, 401(k), medical insurance, profit sharing, and more.

No two days are exactly the same. You'll work on different equipment, troubleshoot different problems, and spend your time solving real‑world mechanical and electrical issues.

Stability. We've been solving material handling problems for a long time, and we're still growing.

What You'll Actually Do

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on material handling equipment at customer locations

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including motors, photo eyes, limit switches, E-stops, and related components

Identify parts and materials needed to complete service and maintenance work and help coordinate their procurement

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers before, during, and after service work, including obtaining approvals when needed

Complete work orders, customer forms, purchase orders, timecards, and other required documentation accurately and on time

Look for opportunities to help existing customers with additional service needs and provide literature or basic proposals when appropriate

Maintain your company service vehicle, including routine maintenance, inventory, supplies, organization, and cleanliness

Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule supporting our 24‑hour service line

Assist with installations of new and used material handling systems as needed

Work independently in the field while knowing when to involve other Cisco-Eagle resources to solve a problem

Work overtime when customer needs, service calls, or installation schedules require it

Travel overnight occasionally based on customer and project needs

What You Bring

Field service experience is required. We're looking for someone who is comfortable working directly with customers and troubleshooting equipment in the field.

Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial or material handling equipment

Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience with 220VAC and 24VDC electrical systems is preferred.

Welding experience is a plus

The ability to work independently, manage your service calls, and solve problems without someone constantly looking over your shoulder

The ability to work effectively with other Cisco-Eagle technicians, subcontractors, and installation crews when the job requires a team

Comfort using Windows-based software and a computer for diagnostics, communication, and documentation

Good communication and follow‑through. Customers need to know what's happening, and paperwork needs to be accurate and completed on time.

A high school diploma or GED

A valid driver's license with a clean driving record

A professional, dependable attitude and a willingness to help where needed
