ASGCO Nazareth Service Branch Location: 730 Bangor Road, Nazareth, PA 18064

ASGCO Manufacturing, Inc., a manufacturer and turn-key service provider of bulk material handling equipment, including conveyor systems, conveyor components, screens, and wear parts to the aggregate, cement, recycling, and other bulk material handling industries.

We are looking for a Field Service / Conveyor Belt Technician to install, service, and repair conveyor belts and components who has experience on Industrial jobsites, including Aggregate, Asphalt, Ready-mix, Quarries, and other types of Industrial / Manufacturing plants. We provide in-house training programs for advancement. Any construction or millwright type jobs including steel fabrication, welding, proper rigging techniques, and conveyor experience is a plus.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install new conveyor belt
• Change out existing conveyor belt
• Repair or splice conveyor belt
• Demonstrate proper and safe use of handling tools, equipment, and materials.
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Follow instructions under the leadership of the Crew Lead to ensure all aspects of the job are covered to avoid time-consuming delays and ensure hazard and/or task training that may be required before the task begins
• Ensure equipment is maintained in proper working order to avoid injury and keep work areas clean/free of hazards
• Participate in our Conveyor Technician training programs for advancement.
• Be willing and able to work a variety of schedules on-call, including dayshift, nightshift, and weekends.
• Comply with all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.

Requirements:

• Prior belting experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Regular and punctual attendance
• Ability to travel
• Effective communication skills
• Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
• Job duties will be performed underground and on the surface; candidates must be able to obtain all applicable Federal and State underground and surface certifications and successfully complete industry-approved training courses.
• Must be able to successfully pass a post-offer drug test and background check
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed or as the schedule requires
