Job summary

Pratt Cedar Hill Corrugating LLC is seeking a Converting Supervisor to oversee daily production of corrugated products at our Cedar Hill, TX facility. You will supervise approximately eight employees, ensure quality and efficiency, and cross-train staff to minimize waste while upholding safety standards.

You will report to the Plant Superintendent and participate in weekly Production/Safety meetings, with opportunities to pursue ongoing training and career growth within a busy manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Prior work in the corrugated industry preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedures, and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate with groups.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately 8 staff in daily production of corrugated products.
• Maintain quality, efficiency, and production levels per management standards.
• Coordinate with supervisor and maintenance on repairs and preventative tasks.
• Lead weekly Production/Safety meetings with the department.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping policies are followed.
• Cross-train staff and develop team skills to reduce downtime.
