Job summary

ND Packaging in Sturtevant, WI is seeking a Converting Supervisor to lead a shift operating flexo folder gluers, die cutters, and related equipment to meet customer specs and targets.

You will drive safety, quality, and productivity, coach a crew of 8–20 hourly workers, and partner with Maintenance and Scheduling to minimize downtime and ensure on‑time delivery.

Required 2+ years in corrugated converting, strong communication, and ability to work rotating shifts; bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years operating or supervising corrugated converting equipment (FFG, die cutter, or equivalent).
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, run schedules, and quality specifications.
• Strong communication skills — clear, direct, and timely up and down the org.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of hourly operators on converting equipment to meet safety, output, and quality targets.
• Enforce safety policies, conduct pre‑shift observations, and lead incident investigations.
• Log downtime events, coordinate with Maintenance, and ensure PM tasks are completed.
• Supervise 8–20 hourly operators, coach performance, and enforce attendance and conduct standards.
• Prepare and present daily shift production reports, highlight shortages or equipment issues.
• Coordinate with Scheduling on priority changes and capacity constraints.
