Job summary

ND Paper in Sturtevant, WI seeks a Converting Supervisor to lead a team of hourly operators in the converting department. You will ensure safe operations, maximize output, uphold quality, and manage downtime and crew performance on your shift.

The role requires guiding a busy manufacturing team, enforcing safety, tracking KPIs, and coordinating with maintenance and scheduling to meet customer specifications and production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating or supervising corrugated converting equipment (FFG, die cutter, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to lead a shift crew in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, run schedules, and quality specifications.
• Basic math and measurement skills; comfort with production reporting.
• Strong communication skills — clear, direct, and timely up and down the org.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of hourly operators in converting equipment to meet safety, output, quality, and downtime targets.
• Enforce safety policies and LOTO procedures; document safety observations and incidents.
• Maintain downtime logs and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Coach and develop the crew; manage attendance and conduct per HR processes.
• Prepare shift production reports and communicate issues at daily operations meetings.
