Job summary

Pratt Industries in Rock Wall, NM is seeking a Machine Operator/Helper to support converting operations, including setup, operation, cleanup, and process improvements. While prior Flexo or similar experience is desirable, we will train the right candidate to operate converting equipment.

You'll work 3:30PM–11:30PM with potential overtime and enjoy a benefits package. Pratt offers health, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, PTO, and life insurance as part of the overall compensation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in a packaging environment preferred.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Set-up rails, print, and die cut section on converting machine accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques.
• Inspect all dies before and after run to ensure that any necessary repairs are made before the next run.
• Monitor box quality, including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, and print.
• Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
• Cross-train on other machines.
