Job summary

Pratt Industries in Carlisle, PA is seeking a Machine Helper to support converting operations on multiple shifts. The role includes setup, operation, cleanup, and suggesting improvements to efficiency. The position offers a starting wage of $19.80 per hour and above depending on shift.

As a full-time employee, you will work with a team under the Converting Supervisor, with duties spanning dies handling, quality checks, and maintenance reporting. Prior machine experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Solid prior work history and good references.
• Able to read and follow factory masters.

Responsibilities

• Set-up rails, print, and die cut section on converting machine accurately.
• Inspect dies before/after run and ensure repairs as needed.
• Monitor box quality for size, warp and print.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating at capacity and speed.
• Train and assist other operators on the machine.
• Cross-train on other machines and complete reports accurately.
