Job summary

JASPER seeks a detail-oriented converter disassembly associate in Indiana. You will disassemble converter components using hand tools and a grinder, load/unload parts into washers, and assist with cutting open up to 140+ converters daily on a lathe. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay focused.

Work from Monday to Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm with overtime possible. Competitive starting pay with benefits in a climate-controlled environment at our associate-owned operation.

• Maintain safety and efficiency on a 6:30am–3:00pm shift.

Power Drive - Converter DisassemblyJob Overview:

The disassembly position is very detail-oriented and labor intensive. This position is responsible for the disassembly of the cut converter utilizing basic hand tools and a grinder. This position will also be responsible for loading and unloading components into a washer. This position may require lifting up to 50lbs. Associates must be fast paced and communicate effectively. This position is responsible for cutting open of up to 140+ converters daily utilizing a lathe. The ideal candidate would have lathe experience and experience using air tools. This position requires an individual who can lift constantly and has good focus.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm Overtime available.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as drills, impacts, hammers, calipers, and micrometers.
