Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Conversion Operator to support our production line. You will perform start-up, set-up, and running of the conversion line, reading schedules and BOM, selecting materials, and ensuring product specifications.

The role requires reading English, basic math, and computer skills; shifts are 4PM-12AM with a $1 shift differential for hours 4PM-8AM; physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and working 12-hour shifts. Prior packaging experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Read and understand English (US customary) measuring system.
• Able to read ruler to the nearest ¼ inch.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand the production schedule and BOM.
• Set up and operate conversion line machinery safely.
• Select proper raw materials and ensure correct product specs.
• Cycle the machine with limited maintenance support.
• Test initial product and verify it is in-spec per work orders.
• Package and label products per instructions and QA requirements.
• Adhere to Food Safety Regulations.
