Job summary

Mativ Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Conversion Operator to operate the conversion line, identify raw materials, and manage start-up, set-up, and running for production. The role requires reading the production schedule, packaging according to instructions, and adhering to food safety standards.

The position follows a 4PM-12AM shift with potential overtime. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to read measurements to 1/4 inch.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Read & understand English (US Customary) measuring system.
• Able to read ruler measurement to the nearest ¼.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand the production schedule and BOM.
• Perform set-up functions including selecting proper raw materials and ensuring product characteristics.
• Cycle the machine with limited maintenance support.
• Test initial product, length, bag alignment where applicable.
• Make necessary line adjustments and ensure product is in spec per work orders.
• Package products according to packaging instructions and label with lot number, serial, product type or description.
• Adhere to Food Safety Regulations as applicable.
