Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Conversion Operator to support machine operation on the conversion line. You will read production schedules and BOM, select proper raw materials, start-up and run the line, and ensure products meet specifications. The role includes packaging, labeling, and maintaining safety standards on 12-hour shifts.

Ideal candidates read English (US units), have basic math and computer skills, and can work the required overtime. PPE is mandatory, with safety procedures strictly followed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand English (US Customary) measuring system.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Read ruler measurement to the nearest.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand the production schedule and BOM.
• Perform set-up and start-up of the conversion line, select proper raw materials.
• Cycle the machine with limited maintenance, test initial product and adjust as needed.
• Verify product is in spec per work orders and package per instructions.
• Label products with lot/serial numbers and meet PPE requirements.
• Maintain safety, perform repetitive tasks, and operate 12-hour shifts.
