Qualifications

• 2 or more years of hotel catering and rooms experience in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate event documentation with group sales, catering sales and hotel departments.
• Ensure seamless turnover from sales to service and back to sales.
• Upsell and offer enhancements to maximize event revenue and profit.
• Plan, organize and manage in-house details for group/convention bookings (guest rooms, menus, setup).
• Negotiate meetings/functions, room blocks, rates, and related requirements.
• Report and critique activities to the Director of Convention Services or Director of Sales.
