Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a vigilant security professional for crowd control and guest safety at our Worcester venue. You will perform bag checks, screen patrons, and manage access while upholding venue policies and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, open availability for day, evening, overnight, weekend and holiday shifts, and strong customer service and communication skills to interact with guests and staff effectively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service skills and professional presence.
• Ability to work flexible hours including day, evening, overnight, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Bag checking to ensure no contraband is permitted in the venue.
• Security screening via pat downs, walk-through detectors or wand screening.
• Ensure patrons have valid ID or ticket for admission.
• Ensure patrons do not enter non-public areas.
• Direct and interact with the public, fellow employees and management.
• Assist with seating and directions as required.
• Follow emergency protocols for medical, fire, active shooter, evacuation, or other emergencies.
• Observe and report unsafe conditions on the premises.
• Address customer complaints and rule violations while maintaining safety.
• Work independently and assess situations for immediate response within guidelines.
• Provide written witness reports as required.

Job description

This position is responsible for crowd management at the facility. This may include security screenings, ticket taking, ushering, access control, emergency response, ensuring the safety of guests, enforcing venue policies, ensuring the safety of 3 rd party property and other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

• Bag checking to ensure no contraband is permitted in the venue
• Security screening via pat downs, the use of walk-through metal detectors or wand screening
• Ensuring patrons entering the venue have a valid ID or ticket for gaining admittance
• Ensuring patrons do not enter non-public areas
• Directs and interacts with the public, fellow employees and management
• Assist with seating and directions as required
• Follows emergency protocols in the case of medical, fire, active shooter, evacuation or other emergency situations
• Observe, detect, correct and report any unsafe conditions on the premises
• Appropriately deal with customer complaints, patrons negatively impacting other attendees and/or patrons not conforming to venue policies
• Works independently, and judges and assesses situations for immediate response within the guidelines of the facility
• Provide for written witness report as required

Physical Demands

This position will require a large amount of standing, walking, climbing, and stooping. Position requires work in both indoor and outdoor settings. Hourly Rate

$ 16.80
