Job summary

ROC in North Carolina is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee all retail activities within an assigned region. You will ensure the highest level of customer service, organize schedules and territories, and supervise store managers, acting as a role model for the ROC team.

This 50-hour per week role includes competitive benefits and a company vehicle, with travel throughout the region to drive performance and support store operations.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience in retail management.
• Experience and knowledge in management, finances, accounting, reporting, customer service, inventory management and other related operational areas.
• Demonstrated effective track record in retail sales and operations.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Area Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all retail activities within an assigned region. The Area Supervisor ensures the highest level of customer service throughout each assigned location, organizes and oversees the schedules, territories, and performance of store managers and acts as a role model and leader to all ROC store employees, and maximizes the workforce to achieve maximum results.

Requirements

Experience

• Three to five years’ experience in retail management
• Experience and knowledge in the areas of management, finances, accounting, reporting, customer service, inventory management, people management and other related operational areas.
• Demonstrated effective track record in retail sales and operations.

Knowledge and Education

• High School diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of retail management and people management
• Knowledge of overall effective business management, including operational responsibility for revenues, expenses, and risk management.
• Solid knowledge of store operations, required – merchandising, inventory control, cash control.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable means of transportation.
• Ability to multi-task, i.e., pick-up where left off when interrupted.
