Caterpillar Inc. is hiring a Test and Validation Engineer for the Peoria Proving Ground in Washington, IL, working 2nd shift. You will implement and improve testing, development and validation techniques to maximize product quality across machine, system, and component levels.

You will lead validation planning, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time delivery of validation deliverables while exploring new technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with validation planning and testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct communication with internal customers to gather validation requirements.
• Develop validation methods and improve testing procedures and operations.
• Document issues detected through validation to internal customers.
• Manage validation deliverables to meet milestones and communicate risks.
• Resolve design issues to support manufacturing readiness.
