Trane in Atlanta is hiring for a Service Controls Team Leader to supervise HVAC Field Technicians responsible for repairing, retrofitting, and replacing environmental comfort systems, utilizing knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.

Work Location

This role is designated as Remote within Southeast geography, based out of Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities
  • Train and develop HVAC Field Technicians, provide technical advice and guidance.
  • Assist in scheduling, dispatching, and staffing decisions.
  • Maintain vehicles and equipment.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager for onsite installations and repairs.
  • Evaluate safety needs, implement policies, and conduct training.
  • Travel and overnight stays may be required to support multiple offices.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or technical certification in HVAC preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in BAS.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, electronics, and controls.
  • EPA Universal Technician Certification.
  • Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, clean record.
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely.
  • Use of safety gear and PPE.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and working at heights.
  • Exposure to variable environmental conditions.
Compensation

Base pay: $29 - $55/hour, based on experience and location.
