Job summary
Amy's Kitchen in Pocatello, Idaho, is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Technician to program, configure, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and motor drives across our plant. You will work with engineers and maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable control systems, read schematics and wiring diagrams, and support installation and commissioning of projects.
This role requires an AA.S. in Industrial Automation and several years of hands-on experience; we value safety, accuracy, and proactive
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (A.A.S. or A.O.S.) in Industrial Automation or Electrical Engineering Technology with four+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Rockwell PLC and HMI diagnostics and minor program modifications.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs and panel layouts; safety conscious.
Responsibilities
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs (Rockwell) and industrial controls.
- Modify and troubleshoot HMI interfaces and PLC software; provide design feedback.
- Install and troubleshoot motor drives, servo motors, and robotics.
- Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to install and repair panels and equipment.
- Provide technical support for installation, commissioning, and validation of projects.
