Are you an experienced Controls Technician looking to grow with a worldwide leader for HVAC and Building Automation?

Trane is seeking a Key Accounts Building Automation Controls Technician – REMOTE.

In this role, you will be traveling between 50 - 75% to perform installations (commissioning), troubleshooting, repairing, and programming environmental control systems in a commercial setting.

What you will do:

• Commission, program, set up graphics, communicate, test, troubleshoot, and service assigned projects.
• Document point verification, validate sequences, and close out jobs.
• Serve as the direct customer contact, ensuring satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand requirements and prepare for on-site work.
• Stay current on Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of DDC systems.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain security of company assets.
• Work overtime and occasional overnight stays as required.

What you will bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with 3-5 years of HVAC/Controls experience; technical training preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, with a clean record.
• Experience with DDC controls systems preferred.

Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure:

• Ability to operate a vehicle safely.
• Use of safety equipment such as helmets, goggles, fall protection, and boots.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 40 lbs, working at heights, and in various environmental conditions.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $25 - $35/hour. Actual pay may vary based on experience and location.
