Are you an experienced Controls Technician eager to grow with a global leader in HVAC and Building Automation?

Trane seeks a Key Accounts Building Automation Controls Technician - REMOTE. You will travel 50-75% to install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and program environmental control systems in commercial settings. You can be based anywhere in the Continental US.

Responsibilities include:

• Commissioning, programming, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing control systems.
• Documenting verification and validation processes.
• Serving as the primary customer contact for service and repairs.
• Coordinating with team leaders and customers for on-site work.
• Maintaining current knowledge of Trane products and safety standards.
• Working overtime and occasional overnight stays as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, 3-5 years HVAC/Controls experience, technical training preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for at least 12 months.
• Experience with DDC controls systems is preferred.

Physical and environmental requirements include:

• Ability to operate vehicles safely, wear safety gear, and perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
• Exposure to variable weather, mechanical, electrical, and environmental conditions.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $25 - $35/hour, based on experience and location.
