Position Details:

This role is Safety Sensitive. As a Key Accounts Building Automation Controls Technician – REMOTE, you will travel 50-75% to install, troubleshoot, repair, and program environmental control systems in commercial settings. You can be located anywhere in the Continental US.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning, programming, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing control systems.
  • Documenting verification and validation processes.
  • Customer service and satisfaction, diagnosing and repairing equipment.
  • Coordinating installation and repair activities with teams and clients.
  • Maintaining knowledge of Trane products and safety standards.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including occasional overnight stays.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years HVAC/Controls experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
  • Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, clean driving record.
  • Experience with DDC controls systems is a plus.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely, wear safety gear, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, heights, and confined spaces.
  • Lift and move weights up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional heavier lifts.
Compensation:

Base pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, based on experience and location.
