Job summary

LONG Building Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Controls Technician Intern to assist controls technicians in building automation system installations according to project specifications.

The role includes supporting installation, warranty and emergency services, and maintenance, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm and potential overtime. The position is based in Littleton, CO and offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HVAC systems, control systems, and electrical

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong analytical skills for solving software and integration challenges.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret mechanical plans and specs.
• Some knowledge of HVAC, building automation, electrical systems, and construction procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with programming databases to meet operation sequences and manufacturer recommendations.
• Assist with installation of control system devices and wiring per LONG standards and documents.
• Assist with calibration and check-out of control systems ensuring commissioning obligations are met.
• Assist with GUI preparation and delivery of graphical user interfaces when required for projects.
• Panel fabrication.
• Light programming.
• Travel to job sites.
• Other duties as assigned.
