Job summary

Trane Technologies invites you to join a 12‑week Controls Technician Intern program. You will work with the engineering team to support programming and material selection, assist senior technicians on construction sites, and perform graphic programming for customer control systems.

You’ll also coordinate with contractors and owners on scope and budgets while learning to configure Trane controllers. The program develops technical, business, leadership, and communication skills in a dynamic

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Building Automation/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, or equivalent.
Knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering to support programming and material selection for projects.
Assist senior controls technicians with startup activities on active construction sites.
Perform graphic programming for customer control systems.
Assist in programming and configuration of Trane controllers.
Coordinate with electricians and contractors to discuss scope, budgets, performance, and close-out with team members.
