Job summary
Electrical Automation Services in Clayton, NJ is hiring Controls Technicians for a large commercial bakery. You'll maintain and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation and process control systems on high-speed production lines, and provide technical leadership to Electro-Mechanics across shifts.
The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with extensive experience in industrial controls and electrical maintenance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of machine layouts, control drawings, P&IDs, interconnection drawings, and distributed control systems.
- Proficiency with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens, and Mitsubishi programming, configuration, and troubleshooting software.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, work orders, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls-related equipment failures.
- Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
