Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is hiring a Controls Technician for a large commercial bakery in Bridgeton, NJ. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation and process control systems on high-speed production lines.

You will provide technical leadership and training to Electro-Mechanics across all shifts, overseeing maintenance of PLCs, drives, networks, and documentation while following GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls experience.
• Experience reading schematics, P&IDs and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with control systems across food production environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize plant electrical and automation systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for controls equipment failures.
• Train Electro-Mechanics across all shifts and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks.
• Ensure GMP, safety, and regulatory standards are followed.
