Electrical Automation Services in Pitman, NJ is seeking a Controls Technician for a large bakery facility. The role focuses on maintaining and optimizing plant electrical, automation, and process control systems to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.

Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with weekend availability required. Candidates should have strong troubleshooting, programming, and documentation skills, and willingness to train Electro-Mechanics across shifts.

Qualifications

• Extensive industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read schematics, P&IDs, control drawings, and interconnections.
• Proficiency with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi programming and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lead and train Electro-Mechanics across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems to maximize uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls-related failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and equipment.
• Support plant utility systems including steam, HVAC, and power distribution.
